Does this story deserve to be on the front page?

Really? Is it even a story? It is also still on the front page of the New York Times website.

I love my niche publications, and I expect to see this story as a headline on people.com. But I feel like these newspapers are losing a bit of credibility by catering to the celebrity tabloid craze.
